Jenna has coached strength training for twelve years, most of it working with busy professionals who train two to four hours a week and need every minute to count. She started as an in-person trainer at commercial gyms, moved into online coaching during the 2020 shift, and now spends her days writing programs for clients who travel constantly, parent young kids, and have to fit lifting between meetings.
Her programming philosophy at Dorsi is "minimum effective dose, maximum carryover": the right compound lifts, the right rep ranges, and the discipline to stop adding accessory work that doesn't change anything outside the gym. She reviews articles on strength training fundamentals, functional movement patterns, and the kind of strength that translates to lifting kids, carrying groceries, and aging well.
Jenna trains four days a week, alternates between a home setup and a barebones commercial gym, and has very strong opinions about how few exercises most people actually need.
